I didn't get a chance to say goodbye in Disney cause we left early. I also didn't get a chance to tell you what an amazing time i had! I just want to thank you for giving me a chance to be a part of all this. I have wanted to come to your camp for a long time because i always heard how great it was. I'm so glad my team was able to come this year because i love that your camp gives girls like me a chance to get out there and see the world of dance. I remember being at camp and hoping that i would get selected for all stars. It was a dream of mine, and when i was selected i can remember both my mother and i crying tears of joy. Being able to perform in Disney was wonderful especially being able to see the look on little girls faces as we paraded through the Magic Kingdom. This whole year with you guys has just been great. From camp to New York and then to Florida i have just had the time of my life. Thanks you for letting me be a part of all this!

I want to thank you for inviting Amanda to participate in the All Stars Florida trip. She had an awesome time and created fond memories for years to come. She enjoyed getting to know the other All Stars and sharing time with girls from other high schools.

Reflecting on my 9 years of being a "Pom Mom" and seeing it all come to an end this year. Amanda is my youngest daughter of three. All three of my daughters participated in poms throughout high school with various involvement. Amanda has been the most involved with being on the varsity team since a freshman and captain for 2 years. Nicole who is my middle daughter now 20 and attending UW Madison was involved for 3 years. My oldest daughter who is 23 living the dream in New York City after graduating from U of Minnesota also was involved for 4 years and was a captain as a senior. Poms provided my girls with the experience of working hard, setting and achieving goals and managing their time between school, sports and part time jobs. I am convinced that the dicipline of practicing at least 3-4 days a week for most of the school year and summer helped them become better students and manage their time throughout the school. Also, working as a team member and learning compromise, leadership skills and dedication.

It's so fun when the three girls get together and have this common bond. Danielle says she still fondly watches performances on DVDs. Nicole and Amanda had the opportunity to be teammates for a year which was a real pleasure for my husband and I. A huge thank you to you and the Badgerette staff for having an organization that has high expectations and provides girls with the opportunity to share their talents. As you can tell from my email, poms and Badgerette has been a huge part of our family for many years.
~ Michelle Ouellette- Madison Memorial Pom Mom, WI

We had a fantastic time on the Disney tour. We attended as a family and were very impressed with the organization and how smoothly everything ran. I am glad the squad had the opportunity to participate. Our thanks also needs to go out to coach Donna Rettmann. It is a large task to take on so many young ladies. There is nothing like seeing the group in the parade. A memory that will last. Thank you to the Badgertte group for all of your hard work. *Kim, Patty & Mark Sobolik - Oak Creek Poms, WI

Anne and the Badgies, I just wanted to thank you for another wonderful year! I have enjoyed every minute this year, and a simple "thank you" email doesn't even come close to showing how appreciative for all that you do for dancers like me. I can't believe that two weeks have already past from when we were dancing down the streets of Disney. I miss it like crazy! Being able to do so was always a dream of mine since I was very young, but the whole experience definitely exceeded any of my expectations! The feeling of being surrounded by girls who have the same love and dream as you do is a feeling that I will never, ever forget. Plus, just being in Disneyworld was a magical experience on its own! :] I haven't ever been so sad to leave a vacation, but this trip was definitely not only the best pom experience I have ever had, but the best experience I have ever had in my entire life! For the first time in awhile, I felt like I was part of a team. All the girls on the trip were just so welcoming and friendly. I really, really can't thank you all enough for everything you do! I'm already getting excited for camp :]
Love, Kelsey Dittloff- Germantown HS, WI

Everything was very well organized and the performance day couldn't have been any more perfect! All of the dancers did an amazing job! Thank you for offering young ladies "once in a lifetime" experiences!

Dear Anne and Badgerette Staff, Thank you for another wonderful day of dance and inspiration. This years
2010 Spirit Invitational was so enjoyable. It was apparent that everyone who participated put in a lot of hard work brought great performances. " I had an epiphany this weekend Anne and I just had to share it with you and thank you actually. So as you know, regionals and state were these past two weekends. At regionals, we ended up getting like 7th in pom or something and 3rd in kick. We were so so sooo excited to make it to sate with kick it was ridiculous. You would have thought we made it to nationals or something. Then yesterday we competed kick and we performed kick the best we ever have. It felt so good and we were all so happy. We didn't place in the top 5 and I don't even remember what we got. But I realized that it doesn't even matter!!! We were all soo happy and just thankful we got to perform at state. And then even moreee, like looking around at some of the other teams...some of them were crying because they got second at regionals or didn't win state! I couldn't even fathom it. I realized that I think my squad acts they way they act because of Badgerette and you!!! Badgerette teaches such manners and sportsmanship and really instills the fact that winning or losing doesn't matter, it's just the performance in general. It not only showed through my squad this weekend but allll of the squads that attend camp and midwest. It was truly amazing. Michelle and I were talking about it and we both agreed. I don't even know why I felt so compelled to send this e-mail other than to just thank you! Thank you for truly teaching us all what poms and performing is all about. I am so thankful. Thank you so much! "~ love Tori Mayo, Nathan Hale HS, WI

I would like to thank Badgerette for teaching my daughter, Courtney, about leadership and sportsmanship. As a former Sault High Pom and Badgerette All Star (30 years ago, wow time flies), I know how difficult it can be at that age to have the skills and patience to guide teenage girls. I saw her leadership skills at a basketball game a few weeks ago. I know that Badgerette played a HUGE role in her having such good leadership skills. I was so proud of her and the way she cares about her squad and how she handles them. So I thank you for helping my daughter develop these skills. Once again, thank you for everything you do.

I don’t even know where to begin to thank you for all of the support that you and Badgerette have given to me and the CMH pom team as we have begun to reconstruct our program. It has been a great journey for me, and I so much appreciate being able to partner with Badgerette, as it is a perfect fit for what we are trying to accomplish. Please know that as our parents and team listened to your words throughout the weekend, they were very consistent with the message that I tried to convey prior to leaving for Midwest. I assured the girls and parents alike, that if someone were to ask me today what place my high school CMH team took at Midwest in any given event in any given year, I could not tell them. At the end of the day, what I remember most from high school poms was the fun we had at camp and Midwest, and the relationships and friendships we formed with the Baderette staff and other teams. Prior to Midwest, I told each team member and parent that no matter what the outcome, this team was already a huge success, because they were able to move us into the Grand Championship category, and that alone is so incredibly significant for our program. I asked that they not think about competing for a trophy, but rather go out there and perform to the best of their ability and show Badgerette how proud our team is to be in the Grand Championship class. I believe my words hit home, as after our kick routine, one of the parents came up to me and said, “it doesn’t matter what place they take, they looked so beautiful every CMH mom was crying for how far we had come.”

Our fifth place finish could not mean more to me or my team. It might as well have been first place for us. Just to be considered in the company of amazing teams like Greendale, Franklin, Pinckney and Oak Creek is unbelievable, especially considering where we were three to four years ago. I pulled all the parents together before we left Harper College and with tears streaming down my face made sure they understood just how incredibly significant of an honor fifth place was. Each team that placed above us was very, very, deserving. They set a standard for my team to strive for, and I am truly honored to be in the top five with them.

Thank you again for all that you have done to support our efforts, and the recognition that you have given us. I am so sincerely honored to be in the company of the first through fourth place teams. I still can’t believe it, and am very, very grateful. I know how much work you put into the Badgerette organization, it does not go unrecognized, and you are doing an awesome job. Unfortunately there is only one first place trophy, but there are many winners. On behalf of CMH, please know that we truly feel welcomed and appreciated.

Sincerely, Jenna Boll ~ coach, Catholic Memorial Varsity, Waukesha, WI

Thanks again for a wonderful time at Midwest! My girls loved it. I overheard a few of them commenting on how neat it was to watch the other teams do their versions of "Sweet Dreams". Anyway, kudos to you and your organization for making Badgerette an extremely positive experience for all of the teams. I have never witnessed so much good sportsmanship from the kids of various teams towards each other. It was such a pleasant change of pace compared to my past experiences with other companies. It was certainly a breath of fresh air! Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you and your staff better in the future as well as all of the other coaches. We will certainly be back next year!

Thanks so much again, -Tara Pack ~ coach, Kettle Moraine Varsity, WI

Dear Anne: To simply say “thank you” seems inadequate. We are all truly grateful for your hard work to make this Midwest weekend memorable for us. We consider it an honor to be able to participate among the best squads in the Midwest from year to year, and we are so fortunate to have a company like Badgerette provide us with the opportunity to do so. The competition ran as smooth as silk and was packed with positive energy and excitement throughout.

“Making it to Midwest” is a goal that Esprit sets immediately following spring tryouts. While working up to it is filled with hard work, sweat, lots of laughs, and unpredictable challenges, this weekend surely made it all worthwhile! Watching all of the inspiring performances and feeling the support from everyone this weekend was truly amazing!! Like any great party, we were sad to see it end so soon.

Thank you for all of your hard work and efforts to make this year’s Midwest a wonderful experience for all of us. Please pass along our appreciation to the Badgerettes, and your family and friends who also helped to make this weekend so successful. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, no one does it better than Badgerette!!

Sincerely,
Pat Premetz ~ Wauwatosa Esprit, WI

I just wanted to thank you so much for the fabulous camp experience! I have to tell you, I was really nervous coming to camp because I had no idea what to expect. But from the moment I arrived at St. Norbert's, I could tell that you guys truly care about us and want us to be the best we can be. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that. You guys are true inspiration for me. Camp not only helped me come out of my shell but helped me meet new people that I would have otherwise never talked to. Our entire squad became really close and I truly feel like part of the team now. I had so much fun learning the routines and have so many memories - I can't wait to add more next year! Thanks again for everything!

Camp at UW-Parkside this year was amazing! The other squads that attended were friendly, kind, and energetic. Every "Badgie" was welcoming and always willing to help. All the routines learned were incredibly fun to perform and super sassy! On that note, I cannot wait for Midwest this weekend. It has become a favorite part of my summer, a great way to end three months off from school. I am pumped to see what all the other schools have been working on over the summer. Good luck to everyone! I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the time I spent at UW-Parkside a few weeks back at Badgerette camp. I learned so much and I had a really great time! I look forward to attending the Midwest Invite this weekend. Thanks again for all of your help and hard work!

As coaches, we would like to thank you for both a great camp experience and a fantastic State Fair Competition for our girls. At both events the girls have made positive memories that will last a lifetime. We were impressed with the consistency of our State Fair judging sheets and how useful the comments were. They will be sure to help our squad improve the rest of the year. Outweighing the feedback was the opportunity for the girls to both showcase their own routine and appreciate other routines by squads who were obviously working hard all summer.

As spectators, we want to thank your staff for holding the competition at such a public event. The State Fair was the first time I saw dance in the form of pom pons and sparked a life long interest for dance and poms. I am sure this competition was just like the past State Fair Competitions in that it inspired many young girls and entertained all who watched.

Thank you,

Dear amazing and lovely Badgerette Staff...I am still fumbling around to find the right words and the perfect way to thank you for showing up so beautifully for us...for everyone. From the very second we got there, we were met with warmth and smiles and direction. For many of our girls, this was their first time away ~ Badgerette Camp became a safe and encouraging place for them to land for a few days.

I saw the changes. I saw their confidence grow, I saw the spark in their spirits become stronger, I saw the girls learn and bond and become closer... And this all happened because of your program, and the integrity each one of you carry inside your hearts.

Our girls cannot stop talking about how much fun they had how much they learned...Our parents cannot stop talking about how grateful they were tosee the changes in their daughters. TO find true and positive role models that are real and attainable is a task within this world, and you have provided that role above and beyond what we could have imagined. I knew the talent was to be found, but what I didn't expect was the
overall incredibly positive, fun, encouraging atmosphere.

And it blew me away. Much of my career is in running retreats and workshops for women and children, and creating places for them to grow and be seen and be encouraged in their day to day lives. . Each time I come back from one of these camps, I am bursting with so much emotion, so much goodness, it takes a few weeks to come back down.

This is what we experienced at Badgerette Camp.

Thank you for being such a bright light for our girls, for exposing their eyes to a integrity based program, for making them each feel so special and so seen... Thank you for making such a needed difference in this world, and for reminding us all what matters most.

YOU are dear, sweet, kind, brilliant, amazing, talented, and strong women and we will never forget this time we were able to share with you and the rest of the crew at Badgerette. I hope you are all resting and refueling, I wish you all the best kind of goodness and magic into your lives...

Hi everyone at Badgerette,

The girls from Oak Creek and I had so much fun at Carroll University camp this year. Hanging out with the girls and coaches from other schools was awesome. My girls loved it and they feel they really bonded with each other. Though it was exhausting they never let it show. They learned a lot from the Badgies and LOVED the food this year! Thank you for making this such a positive and great experience for the girls. See you at Midwest!

Teresa and Alli and all of the girls were awesome during the instruction and were so helpful with all the dances that were taught! The music and the dances are, once again, awesome! We always look forward to the camp experience and this year was no exception!

Look forward to Midwest, new hotel again and venue with the "water feature". Ha, ha!

See ya there!! Michele Gore~ Pinckney Varsity Coach, MI

I just wanted to thank each and every one of you for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. I look forward to camp every year because of the way it helps my team bond and getting to know each other. I am so grateful that my team and I are able and welcomed to attend St. Norbert Camp each summer. Being on my high school pom pon squad has changed my life in so many ways. I have made the best of friends not only from my own squad but also from several other amazing squads that I will never forget and precious memories that will always last. Poms has also given me confidence in myself and has taught me great life lessons that I will pass on and share with new and old members of my squad. I have learned that hard work never goes unnoticed, to always work as a whole, and that respecting members on my squad and other squads of all ages is a key ingredient for an amazing camp experience. I truly cherish ever memory that I make at camp because in a few years I will be on the other of the side of the performance floor only capturing a fraction of what camp is really about. I realize now why you all love this so much and I hope to one day join you and feel a whole new experience of camp. Thank you again for the best camp experience I’ve had so far and I hope to have many more amazing memories for the years to come.

This year was the first year that we were ever able to take our team to camp because we just became a year round sport. All of us were overwhelmed with the whole camp experience. We all had such a great time and learned so much. I would highly recommend this camp to all Pom teams. We are still talking about how much fun we had. I think it was just wonderful how as each day passed we became friends with other teams. It will be so much fun now going to competitions and cheering on the teams we met. It was an experience we will not soon forget. Your staff were so nice and helpful. I just can't say enough. My favorite part was the last night when all the teams got up on the stage and watching them bond and dance together. The girls are already looking forward to coming back next year. It will be nice because we will know more about what to expect and we can be better prepared. Your kindness and support is greatly appreciated. See you next year.

Sincerely,

I just wanted to say thank you so much for another amazing year at camp! Like last year it was SO much fun and an amazing experience that brought me many memories that I will never forget. Being a member of a pom squad has given me an opportunity to meet some of the greatest friends, older and younger, that I most likely never would have talked to had it not been for the one thing that brought us all together: dance. Going to camp also gave me the same opportunity but with girls from all over. Camp let me come out of my shell and meet some truly amazing girls that I will always remember. Camp not only let us meet new people, it also let us grow closer with girls on our own squad. Our whole squad really bonded at camp this year and we are all so close now thanks to the program you have provided for us. Poms has taught me some of the greatest life lessons anyone could ever want to know. It has taught me the concept of working as one, responsibility, respect an d, most importantly, to never give up. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that you guys take the time to know us, help us and take care of us. I can see that you guys all really do love what you are doing and it really inspires me to give my all in everything I do in life. I honestly respect, admire, and look up to every single one of you, you are the ideal role models for teenagers today. Thank you so much for giving us this amazing opportunity, it has taught me many things and given me memories I could not get anywhere else. It is truly always a life changing experience.
Sincerely, Elizabeth Rick~Greendale, WI

I just wanted to thank you for helping me make my first camp experience a great one. I was expecting camp to be fun, but nothing nearly as amazing at it was. Our team really became close, and I know I can be myself now. You all helped us come out of our shell. The first day of camp I was shy and I definitely felt like I couldn't be myself, but you kept encouraging us to have personality. At the end of camp I had a totally different attitude and felt like I knew everyone for many years. I really felt comfortable, and I was having an amazing time. I had so much fun dancing with all 180 girls who love the same thing I do. I enjoyed all of the different styles we got to learn. Once again, thank you for a great week!

Love, Jenna Gradinjan ~ Greendale HS Freshman, WI

Hope all is well. We had a great time at camp and I wanted to let you know how well the staff did at conducting a successful weekend. Alli and Teresa did a fantastic job with the girls and everything went so smoothly. Kudos to them! You should be very proud.

Thank you, Michele Garcia ~ Brighton JV, MI

I am a freshman on Greendale Poms, and I just recently attended your camp at St. Norberts. I just wanted to thank you for giving me such a great experience! Not only was it so much fun, but I also learned a lot. I look forward to going to camp next year.

Thank you! Kate Jungers

I just wanted to let you know that my team had a wonderful time at Central Michigan University for camp! The staff was the best ever and even though we missed Betsy, they more than made up for her absence. We also loved the new location for classes! Thanks for everything!

Thank you so much for everything you did for Germantown while we were at camp! I can't tell you how much your words solidified everything that Lindsay and I are about and why we are here. I am so thankful that we got you as our sister for the week because you really helped me to see how I affect this program and what my job as a coach means to myself and how I impact the girls. Again, I cant thank you enough for all of the kind, constructive and meaningful words you gave to Lindsay, the team and me. I hope the rest of your camps are going as good as the St. Norbert's session did. Your Badgies this year are just awesome and caring and so genuine. I am excited to see you and all the Badgies at Midwest in a few weeks. I hope our girls can show you at Midwest that they do love to dance and the reason why they are on our team is because of that.

Again, thank you again for everything you did for the program as a whole, the camp session and our girls, Amanda Kate ~ Germantown Warchix Coach

Thank you again for a great week at camp. All 37 girls had a fantastic time and got just what they needed from your staff! It was a great way to start our first JV team and varsity had some new challenges and accomplishments. I appreciate the fresh new ideas and the classic traditions that you are holding strong. We can't wait until Midwest!

I attended the Badgerette Pom Camp at Central Michigan University for the three years I was on my Lakeshore High School Lancerettes Pom Squad. One of my favorite things about being on the pom squad was going to pom camp every summer! I loved your entire program with the fun and talented staff, exciting choreography, team and skill building workshops, and a healthy competitive edge. As a team member, choreographer, and senior captain I learned and grew so much at your camps! I was also a two-time Dance Star, senior All Star, and Miss Badgerette contender.

A few years after leaving your program, I became a professional NFL cheerleader. As a 2008 Arizona Cardinals Cheerleader I was able to represent the organization and perform not only at home football games, but also in Seattle, Texas, Australia, for U.S. military troops, and of course Tampa Bay at Super Bowl XLIII. I was also a part of the team's traveling Arizona Cardinals Cheer Show Team, awarded as a Cheerleader of the Week, and the team's Best Overall Cheerleader Award my rookie year.

Because of your program I learned the skills needed to become an NFL cheerleader and was able to experience so many wonderful things and meet so many inspiring people. Your program helped me to learn dance and performance skills as well as valuable team and leadership skills, grace, poise, and class. I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful pom program!

I have since decided not to return to the cheer team this year as to focus on my senior year of college at Arizona State Universtiy and a career internship. Being on the team has opened many doors for me, and helped me to further grow as a person. I hope to someday return to professional cheerleading, or even be part of a wonderful pom camp program such as Badgerette! Please keep teaching and inspiring young women as you do. I hope to someday send a daughter of mine to a Badgerette Pom Camp!

Sincerely, Jenna Lee Thomas ~ Tempe, AZ

The Power Poms had a great time at camp. They wanted to share with you their "best part" of camp - We loved learning different styles - got to know each other better - loved all the new routines - bonding & learning - watching all the other teams routines - getting to know other pom pon girls - how they felt safe and comfortable - how much fun it was to learn - performing.

They also wanted you to know what they learned about themselves -Smile better - not to be shy - I could have fun while performing - I could push myself harder than I thought - not to get stressed, just have fun - I could do more than I thought. The #1 thing that was repeated: "I could learn and master a routine faster than I thought "! We are excited for Midwest.

Camp, again, ran smoothly...the girls learned SO, SO much and had a blast! Thanks to Alli for being such a great "sister". The girls really looked up to her and she always spoke to them with respect and class. We are really looking forward to a great Midwest.

I just wanted to personally say thank you so much for another great year at camp. Like previous years, it was an amazing experience that I will never forget, and me and my team appreciate it. Poms has given me the opportunity to make some of the best friends I've ever had, and camp gave me the experience to become closer with my team. As I get older, I'm starting to cherish each and every moment more, because I know it will come to an end. Being on poms and going to camp has taught me not only a lot about dance and inspired me to never give up, but it also taught me some great life lessons. I've learned to take responsibility for myself and others, work as a team, and really respect people and make them feel important. You guys really helped me and my team, and I will never forget the things I have learned at camp. I'm starting to understand why you all love doing what you do, and I just wanted you to know that I look up to and respect all of you. Thanks again, youhave given me so many great memories and I'm looking forward to many more!

I cannot believe I just had my last camp; I honestly can't even believe I'm a senior! I still feel like I'm a freshman. Now that I'm sitting at home, thinking about last week, it is so surreal! I was the biggest cry baby at camp. haha! I cried on the first day just listening to Anne talk, I cried talking to the squad, I cried during sister squad meetings, I cried during just about everything! I just want to thank you Anne and all the badgies for last week. It was the best camp experience I've ever had. I loved all the badgies, and working with them, I loved all the squads, I loved the routines, I loved everything! Thank you for giving me so many memories. Thank you for creating such a positive and supportive environment for my squad to learn and perform. Thank you for bringing my squad closer together. Thank you for all the wonderful opportunities you have given me. Thank you, Anne and all the the Badgies, foreverything!

Love Always, Tori Mayo~ Nathan Hale, WI

Thank You and the Badgerette staff so much for the wonderful camp this week! It ran so smooth and the routines were a lot of fun! Thank you Izzy for being our "sister" this week, you were so good to us and gave us great feedback. My daughter Cortney attend the Badgerette Camp this year for the 3rd time and couldn't stop talking about how much fun she had and how uplifting the experience was! She has always enjoyed going to camp but expressed to me,many times in her calls home, that she was having so much fun this year. I can't tell you how much the whole squad loved having you as their Big Sis. They said it was a true experience to hear thoughts and ideas straight from you. The first call home to me was " Mom you wouldn't believe it, we have Anne as our Big Sis,this is great!" This year Cortney decided to try out for NY. She called me right after the results and yelled, "Guess who's going to New York!" She is truly ecstatic about the trip and the experience of learning a dance with someone from New York. Both Cortney and I saw the shows that were listed on the website and are really excited because my son has been in drama all through HS and now in college, so we are very familiar with Wicked and The West Side Story. We all can't wait until Midwest and are looking forward to the trip to New York in November.

Thank you again to you and all your staff for the hard work and time you put into these experiences for our girls. The girls love it and I as a parent truly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Christal Pelzek ~ Oak Creek, Pom Mom

As I was at Carroll the other day watching all of the pom squads, I never imagined how much I would miss it. Even though my squad wasn't there, it made me excited to watch all of the girls that I have grown to know throughout high school. As I was sitting in the bleachers with the All-Star girls, it was hard for us to not get choked up. We realized how much poms had sculpted and changed our lives. We have ongoing memories that will always be a part of our lives no matter where our life takes us in the future. As I watch the girls that are my friends dance their hearts out, it made me realize that poms will be one of the best memories I will have in my life. It will be something that will always mean the world to me, even when I can't be involved in it after college. Thank you for awarding me with the opportunities that you did. It was more than anyone could ever ask for and it was an honor to be a part of your program.

Sincerely, Kelly Vickers- Arrowhead Alumni, WI

Dear Anne- Thank you so much for everything you have done for us this year at camp. You have truly inspired us to become better dancers with positive attitudes. Without all of you help, we would not have come this far. Everything you have said to us during our meetings will stay in our hearts forever! It was really an honor to be able to have you as our sister.
From the bottom of our hearts~ Donna & Oak Creek, WI

Thank You Badgerette! I got back from an awesome week at camp and I want to say thank you so much! It was my first time at a pom camp and I enjoyed every minute of the day. The Badgies made my camp experience so much more enjoyable. I loved the routines that we were taught and I love how much our team grew closer together.
I loved everything from funk forum to learning the different styles of dances.
Thank you so much ~ Ellie Zimmer, Germantown Power Poms

Today was such a surreal experience. Coming to camp and not being on the performance floor, I didn't even know how to feel. haha. I have stopped at Oak Creek's practices a few times this summer and I knew they were ready for camp. However seeing them perform today really reminded me how strong of a team they are and how well they work together. That really is something im going to miss about my experience going to camp. How close the team got and how much we grew. It was super emotional being on the other side this year. But as you know ive always been the emotional one =). Coming to see the girls today and being in that atmosphere again made me realize how big that part of my life is. I'm just so happy to have had all the experiences you've offered to me and I just wanted to say thank you. Hopefully in a year or two, I can come back and maybe be apart of it again. All the teams looked amazing today. Badgerette truly does something special for the teams who participate. Im sure ill be seeing you around this year!

I guess all good things have to come to an end, and I wouldn’t want my senior year to end in a more perfect way than with Badgerette. This organization has been a beacon of light in more ways than I could ever explain. You’ve taught me that nothing is impossible, and that hard work and dedication put into a cause you truly believe in can become something magical. I would not trade my experiences with Badgerette for anything in the world. This organization is a huge reason of why I love what I do so much. When Holly was speaking to our team at the final sister squad meeting, she shared some of her personal experiences with us of why she loves what she does, and it truly hit close to home. You have given me so much, and when I look back onto my high school years, I will always remember the moments shared with Badgerette the most. I only hope that I have given back to Badgerette as much as I have received from them, and that I can continue to give back after high school as well. When I saw Tori crying, I knew exactly how she felt. There is something so magnetic and powerful about Badgerette, that understanding that soon it will all be over is heart wrenching. This organization has been a safe haven for me, and for Pius, and without you Anne none of this would be possible. So, to put it simply, thank you, although thank you [as always] will never be enough.

Love, Bridget Mucha - Pius XI Varsity, WI

Anne & Badgies~ I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful week at camp. Our girls had such a great time and were so proud of all they accomplished by Thursday! I want to thank you for helping them find pride in their team. For some reason this summer they lost it, and as of yesterday, it seemed as though they found it again.

I won't go on and on, but I just wanted to let you know what a positive experience it was for them. I saw such a difference in my team this week, and a lot of that is thanks to you and the staff.

Thank you~ Taylor Mikkalson & the Waukesha West Varsity & JV Coaches, WI

I want to thank you for continuing to create such a wonderful program and atmosphere for young girls to return to year after year. The Esprit juniors had a fantastic week and tons of fun. Badgerette camp really helped my girls appreciate the opportunities that are given to them and gives them a safe environment to let go and be themselves. Every year it is a pleasure for me to watch girls grow and blossom and this year has been no exception. From the tough practices to funk forum, camp has pulled the Esprit juniors out of their comfort zone and taught them what it means to work and have fun. Again I just really want to thank you!

Hello Anne!

I just wanted to say thank you so much. You and your staff are amazing. My girls had a lot of fun and learned so much! For most of my girls this was their first Pom Pon Camp. At first they were a little overwhelmed and out of their element, but by the end of the week they were happy they went. They really are ready to re-invent themselves, both as individuals and a squad. I am very proud of them and feel they have come leaps and bounds. I attribute a lot of their growth at camp to you and your staff. Especially, Izzy. She was great! The girls really respect her and look up to her. They soaked up everything she said.

It was a blessing to have my sister and her squad there as well. Pius has been like a "big sister" to my girls. They really took them under their wing. Please let me know if you guys have any more suggestions. We plan on being at State Fair and Great America this year. We really want to grow and take the things we have learned at camp and apply them to our season. Thank you again for your help.

Thank you again from the ST Thomas More Pom Pon Squad
coaches; Nikki Crivello and Courtney Prince ~ Advisor; Debbie Crivello.

Thank you once again for a great week at camp! The girls grew once again as a team........The staff was great, loved the routines this year! Thanks again - WONDERFUL!

Our girls are exhausted and excited - all at the same time! I'm so proud of both squads and it was great being back at camp with them this year - I missed it so much last year. It was fun sharing the week with Maggie, Rachel, the Badgies and all of other coaches. They are very special people in my life! The camp ran so smoothly, as usual. Lauren worked so well with the senior squad and we immediately fell in love with her - what a wonderful addtion to your staff! Congratulations on a fantastic start to what I'm sure is going to be a very successful and exciting year for Badgerette. We had a great week at camp and we are so excited now to prepare for Midwest! Thank you, and the Badgerettes, for all of your hard work and for all that you do to make this week so memorable for us!

On behalf of Esprit (Srs), I would like to thank you for arranging a very productive one-on-one session for us with Holly. We made excellent use of the time we had with Holly and she really helped us focus on the areas of both routines that we need to work on. The two hours flew by, but we managed to get everything done and have fun in the process! Once again, Badgerette has provided outstanding service to us and it's exactly why we remain so loyal to your company. We always receive the best from you. Please tell Holly we said thank you and we hope those numbers in her head didn't keep her up all night!!

Thank you so much for giving us such a great camp experience! The girls loved the choreography and thought that the instructors were so positive and informative. They were by far the best camp instructors that I have ever seen. Both days the girls looked forward to seeing what new and exciting things they would learn. The technique that was taught will benefit our team for many years to come and it has already helped many girls. We will most definitely come back to Badgerette Camp and will participate in Badgerette events. This organization has truly helped our team and we will forever be grateful for the many great routines and fun memories you have let us experience!

Thanks again!! Jennifer Hardy ~ Menomonee Falls Varsity Dance Coach, WI

See you soon!

The Germantown Power Poms, Pixies and Pixie Dust adopted a soldier who is now serving in Afghanistan. Here the Pixies and Dust send a special picture to Virgil. They also send monthly care packages and they are on a rotating schedule to send him mail throughout the year. If there are any teams looking for a great service project this is it. www.adoptaussoldier.org is the site that you can go to.

Thanks so much for the wonderful technique class on Wednesday. The girls learned so much from Kayla and Izzy. It was also extremely benifical for myself and Vinette, just to see the types of across the floor excercises you were doing with the girls, as well as the terminology you were using and types of things you were looking for. It was so great to see the growth in our girls within just those two hours! I can't wait to see how they will progress throughout the year as we continue to use the exercises you showed us. I was also excited to see the confidence of many of our new girls who have had no dance or pom experience grow with Kayla and Izzy's help. Thanks so much for everything, and we can't wait to see you at camp!

Dear Badgerette,
Onalaska started going to your camps just three years ago and it has made a profound impact on our program. Onalaska recently went from not going to state 4 years ago, to just two weeks ago taking second in Jazz and fourth in Pom at State. Thank you for showing what hard work can do, and instilling that dance is more than just movement. Sincerely, Jenna Schneider (Onalaska Dance Coach)

"I believe that we learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by practicing living, the principles are the same. In each, it is the performance of a dedicated precise sets of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes shape of achievement, a sense of one's being, a satisfaction of spirit. One becomes, in some area, an athlete of God. Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired."     Martha Graham
