I would just like to thank Izzy for coming in last Thursday and leading a fantastic technique class for the Esprit Juniors. The girls learned so much from her, and we cannot wait to take what we have learned and integrate the techniques and exercises into our practices. It was also great to get a chance as a coach to step away and to observe and learn, rather than focusing on being a teacher for the girls during practice. The girls were very excited that they had the opportunity to share their routines with Izzy. Once she left all they could talk about was how they can't wait until Spirit to get a chance to show them off again. Thank you again for all of the hard work and time you and the rest of the Badgerette Staff put into helping to make poms such a wonderful experience for girls of all ages. Thanks.

HAPPY NEW YEAR ... 2012 WILL BE ROCKIN'!

I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving full of fun, family, great food, and a chance to relax. I would just like to thank you and the Badgerette staff on behalf of the Wauwatosa Esprit Juniors for a very fun and informative Junior Workshop. It was awesome to come back from our Thanksgiving break and hear the girls still talking about how much they enjoyed the workshop. They were thrilled to get a chance to meet and dance with so many different girls and teams. They came back to practice raving about the routine they learned, but what was even more pleasantly surprising was how much they enjoyed the technique part of the workshop. The coaches meeting was a great addition to my weekend. It was fun to catch up with coaches I haven't seen in a while, and to meet new ones. The topics that were discussed were also a great help and gave me a lot of ideas to take home to my girls.Thank you again for all of your and the Badgies hard work in putting together a wonderful juniors workshop. It is great to have a positive and fun competition outlet to bring my girls to compete, as well as to teach them about great sportsmanship.

Dear Anne, Badgerette Staff, Donna, & Oak Creek dancers, My FLW Pom team had soo much fun at the Jr. High Clinic/Competition! They loved the routine they learned and can't wait to perform it at a basketball game. They were also very impressed by all of the competition routines. Lunch was awesome and they thought all of the Badgerette staff and Oak Creek dancers were so nice! Thank you for organizing such a great event for young ladies to learn and have fun while dancing!

Hi- Back in 98-01 I was a pom pom girl with Pius HS - Becca Irelan. I recently saw your anniversary video on cable and it made me stop and remember my Pius XI HS dancing days with the fondest of memories. I'll never, ever forget getting named an All Star at Whtiewater camp - seems like a lifetime ago. After high school I went to college in South Bend, IN and kept dancing. I retuned to MKE, got married, had kids, work full time, etc. My step-daughter Alyson is a junior at Milwaukee Lutheran and had her first competition last weekend - oh how the memories came flooding back. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. I hope the entire Badgerette organization is doing well. Thank you for teach such life changing lessons about spirit, drive, sportsmanship and a passion for dance. On behalf of the Wauwatosa Esprit Juniors I would like to thank not only the fantastic Badgerette Staff and Organization for a very memorable Midwest, but all the teams who attend Midwest as well. The Wauwatosa Esprit Juniors had a great time seeing what other teams have been working on all summer, and were really amazed by all of the things that they learned this weekend by watching the soloists, small group performances, and the team routines. I cannot wait to see what each of the Jrs. has taken from this weekend put into action at practice and during the rest of our season. As a coach I was pleasantly surprised by how much energy, sharpness, and joy for dance the audience was able to pull out of our girls at Midwest. If I could I would love to have such a large, loving, supportive, and very enthusiastic audience follow our girls wherever they go to compete; for I have never seen such wonderful performances and bigger smiles from our girls until they performed at Midwest. Thank you Badgerette for creating a competition environment where it's not about winning or losing but how hard you cheered for others and how great you felt when walking off the dance floor after each performance. It's how supported these girls felt when at Midwest that they will remember throughout their entire pom careers and their lives. For it is truly an experience unlike any other. Thank you again to all who were involved this weekend for a wonderful Midwest! Your hard work, love, support, and dedication, is very much appreciated.

We are so excited that we were able to get enough Danz Kraze girls/families to go to Midwest this year! I can't wait for Olivia to experience it all! She had such a good time at Camp, she loved being part of the Miss Badgerette contest and she improved so SO much again this year. Thank you for all that you do for the 1000's of kids that have come through your program, but especially for what you've done for me & my daughter. Badgerette events are some of my best pom memories and I know my daughter will cherish the memories and lessons of Camp (& now Midwest and Spirit Invite, too) forever.

I just want to thank you so much for a fantastic camp session this past week at Carroll College. The Esprit Jrs. have been working towards and looking forward to camp all summer. Not only did camp exceed all our expectations as coaches, it really blew our girls away! I have never seen the Jrs. smile so big, work as hard, or care about poms, and each other so much until they arrived at camp. The Badgerette Organization, and the wonderfully talented and caring staff that make it up, are really what made this camp so memorable for the Esprit Jrs. this season. The girls were in awe of how talented and passionate the staff were about poms. They were able to push the girls in exactly the right direction, as well as keep them excited and motivated. As a coach I cannot thank enough for the impact she had on our girls this week. To leave camp with our girls saying, "I have never had more fun;" "I have learned to be confident in myself, and that it is ok to make mistakes and to move on forward from them;" and that "This has helped me not only to be a better person but a better member of a team;" I think really speaks to what a wonderful program, full of positivity, and great role models for young girls, Badgerette is.

As a new coach I learned a lot from watching the Badgerette staff work with the girls, as well as during the coaches meetings. The information and ideas I am taking away from camp are invaluable to me, and I cannot wait to use the knowledge I gained at camp to help make myself a better coach for the Esprit Jrs. Thank you and the Badgerette staff for all that they do in making Pom Pon Camp a once in a life time opportunity for these girls. The Esprit Jrs. cannot wait to show off their routines and to see everyone at Midwest!

5/17/2011 Joanna and I received the DVD today! We watched the DVD this evening, how fun and exciting to "re-live" all of the wonderful moments at Disney. What a once in a life time opportunity and trip! Great moments and great memories! Joanna and I both said the time at Disney went by soooo quickly, here it is May already and the dancers are looking forward to summer dance, summer camp, and Midwest! This will be a bittersweet year for us as it is Joanna's last summer dance season and Senior year. Just wanted to share a picture of Esprit Seniors first official event of the new season. The team volunteered their time and talents and the 2011 MS Walk where they performed a short routine and welcomed walkers back with plenty of cheers at the finish line. It was a beautiful day filled with plenty of smiles! The new squad is looking forward to all of the activities of the new season!!

I just wanted to send you a note to say "thank you"for another exciting Badgerette event. I arrived at 9:45 a.m. as I brought the girls and wanted to support First Immanuel Lutheran and the Esprit Jr's. I thought I would leave after the majority of their performance's were finished and come back around 2:30 for the pom pon portion of the competition. The caliber of the morning performances were incredible so I decided to stay. This was my 4th year attending the Spirit Invitational and I was blown away by the outstanding quality of performances brought to the event. They say a picture tells 1000 words so I have attached one below from yesterday's event. To me it says "1000 thank you's".This photo will remain a favorite of mine for years to come. Thanks again for some incredible memories.

Hello Anne & Badgerettes, I hope this finds you well. I felt the need to write you today and to express how wonderful it was to read the letter on your website from the Performing Arts Manager at Disney World and how proud you and your staff should feel. Becca lives in Florida now and made arrangements to go see the girls perform in the parade and at the Hollywood Studios performance and said that it was amazing! As someone who was a part of that tour once herself, she said that she cried. And I cried seeing all of the pictures from Donna and the Pelzeks from OCHS. The memories are so wonderful, then and now. We were honored to be a part of the Disney All Talent Star tour when Rebecca was involved and your consistent professionalism running your organization shows in everything you do. The Roncalli Dance Team and I just want to take the time to thank you again for extending the invitation to us for the competition! Everyone had a good time and had a wonderful experience. This year was our first year ever doing competitions at our school. Ever since I was on the squad, at least since I was a sophmore (2002), I have always wanted to go and be involved in a competition. Now the year has come and I took it upon myself to start this. We had done two other competitions this year but this one we actually did more then just one routine. The girls liked how everything was set up and loved the big gymnasium! So, we just want to say that everything was done very well and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to come and take part in it!

Thank you for offering the girls the opportunity to be involved in the 2010 Kicking for a Cure. We all got a lot out of it! We were talking about it on Monday at practice and the girls told me about a really cool moment they experienced: At one point a survivor stopped and looked at them and smiled. She said, "We're doing this for you..." and stood there for a moment. The girls said the amazing connection and intensity of the moment was something they will remember for quite a while.
Know that the effort that went into organizing this was worth it!

I just want to thank you for an awesome weekend at Chicago. My daughter is a freshman on JV, so this was our first time. We had so much fun and the dancing was amazing. It should be on ESPN, really! I was truly moved by some of the things I heard and saw. All of these girls work so long and hard. They have set goals and are dedicated. I saw one girl hurt her ankle. She worked through the pain to finish the routine and did not break her smile or dance until after the walk off. Wow. That shows strength. The way the girls encourage and support each other brought a tear to my eye. I saw this before dances to help calm each other and after to give support when they thought it wasn't perfect. I heard some talking with seniors about it being their last year and others telling them how much they will be missed. These girls have learned so many things that will help them through the rest of their life. It was great to be a part of all of this. I also had a great time getting to know the other moms too. Thanks again. Can hardly wait for next year.

We do want to attend another Badgerette event this years so, I think that we will be attending the spirit invitational for the first time:)

I just wanted to take the time to say that I am so grateful for everything that Badgerette has done for not only my team, but myself as well. This summer was my last one, seeing as I am a senior, and it was the best one I have had in my 4 years. Every year Badgerette gives me and my team a chance to work hard and come together to show off our talents, and meet other girls from different squads who do the exact same thing. Camp this year was amazing, not only because we learned awesome routines like we always do, but we were in an environment where we could be ourselves with everyone and have fun, with no stress or pressure. Poms is really a place where everyone supports one another and has fun, and I love that Badgerette highlights sportsmanship and just having a good time and making memories. I will never forget the friendships I have made through poms, because they are so special to me. In fact, I actually was able to rekindle a friendship that was kind of lost in the process of going to different highschools. We had been best friends since kindergarten, and at the Midwest competition last year was when we started talking and becoming close again, and ever since we have supported each other in and out of poms. I feel like I have Badgerette to thank for that, because if supporting other teams wasn't encouraged, I don't think we would have been close again, seeing as how we are on different teams. Our friendship really means a lot to me, and I'm glad that I got it back. Poms has made me realize that it doesn't matter who takes first or last, because later on in life that won't be remembered. What I will remember best is the feeling I get after my team performs, and people from other squads saying how great we looked, or saying good luck to other teams before we compete against them, because it's a great feeling to know that everyone supports one another. I will also remember the many memories I have made with my team at camp, Midwest, and in Florida, because they mean so much to me. Thank you again for giving me and my team the chance to be a part of something as special as Badgerette, because we are really appreciative of it all!

I would just like to say that I really enjoyed Midwest this weekend. Even though it was hard to not be out there on the floor with my team because I miss it so much, it was great to be on the other side and see all of the amazing teams and what they had to offer. It truly is a great event and being a spectator really allowed me to appreciate it on a whole new level.

Thank you so much for yet another great experience at camp. I can't believe it's already my senior year! This was by far the most meaningful camp I've attended thus far. Everything from senior night to learning my very last competition routine really made it sink in that this is it. My favorite moments were watching the freshmen groups performing while we were learning routines. It made me realize how far I've come because it seems like just a few months ago that was me!! I just wanted to say thank you for teaching me so much about poms. Poms wouldn't be the same with out the sportsmanship, hard work, and friendliness you guys have taught and expected from all of us who come to your events. As in past years, our 2-Day private camp was a success thanks to the Badgerette program and our instructors Brittany and MacKenzie. They were excellent instructors with a motivating spirit, which excited the girls. The girls enjoyed learning the routines, and they especially enjoyed the stretching and skills technique workshop. We are looking forward to our upcoming pom season, and of course the Badgerette Junior Worship this Fall. Thank you again for providing wonderful role models in your staff and also the BEST teaching program!! See you soon :)

Just wanted to let you know how much Olivia loved Camp! In fact, one of the first things she said to me last night was "why does camp have to be so short? Why can't it be 5 or 6 days long?" She didn't stop talking about it until she finally fell asleep last night. She came out of her shell more during the 4 days with her team at Badgerette than she has in the last 5 years of dancing. I think she felt more comfortable because she was with "her people" :) My only regret....you and I didn't get a chance to catch up :( As a former camper, former coach, and current camper mom I wanted to let you know how much I truly appreciate all the hard work and passion that you and your staff put in to make the Badgerette Camp experience so amazing. Olivia is already looking forward to next summer! I am looking forward to seeing everyone again next month at Midwest!

Thank you so much for another wonderful camp experience, and also thank you so much for choosing me to be an all-star. It is such a humbling experience to be chosen by you and the staff because deep down, I still feel like the dorky freshmen in the back of the formations. I wanted to let you know how much camp and badgerette in general has meant to me over my 4 years on poms. I have had very little dance experience outside poms, so Badgerette has truly made me the dancer and person I am today. I cannot believe that I have come so far, and that my 4 years have gone by so fast. I would absolutely be a different person if I had not joined poms and found a passion for dance! The best moment of camp this year was when one of the freshman came up to me at the end and told me that they are so happy they joined poms. If I can help even one girl find a passion for this, then I feel satisfied with my senior year, no matter the results.
