THANK YOU: Words cannot express the beauty and pride displayed this weekend on our 2011 Tour! The weather was spectacular, the dancers were beautiful, the coaches were amazing and the activities were a BLAST! It was a thrill to watch the performances. To see 215 dancers come together at Epcot with such beauty was an inspiration! The Magic Kingdom Parade will stick with for a lifetime. I am still in awe and overcome with pride having the honor of watching the dancers, as well as, the parents and fans in the crowd filled with smiles and tears of joy. The Premier Theatre brought us an incredible opportunity for all of our teams. How exciting to have your name announced and be the featured Disney entertainment for the Hollywood Studios crowd! The staff was so impressed with your professionalism, talent and appreciation for each other! What started as just a dream for Badgerette 14 years ago has grown into the most amazing experience of a lifetime! We can't wait to see your pictures and share your notes and favorite memories right here! From the bottom of our hearts we thank you and are so very proud of the positive energy and character each of you represents. I know your families and towns will be so proud! Much love and respect...

Dear Anne,
It was such a pleasure meeting you and working with your outstanding team this past weekend. I walked away from our day overwhelmed by the talent and dedication of everyone involved and the fantastic attention to detail that you have infused into the entire organization. The young ladies were exceptionally polite and disciplined and the precision, talent, and passion evident in everything they did was truly special. Without question, the professionalism, poise, showmanship, and raw energy in each of their performances sets them apart as the kind of world-class Guest entertainment that I so thoroughly enjoy being a part of here.

I am grateful for everyone on your team who helped to make each of your performances run so smoothly and go so successfully for the girls. Betsy, Jenny, Allie, Alli, Izzy, and the rest of the staff were consistently outstanding, fun to work with, and exhibited the qualities that I wish every young dancer was able to look up to. Please let them know what a joy it was to work with them for a day and that I hope to see them all again on the 15th annual Badgerette All Star Talent Tour to Walt Disney World!

ALLSTARS: This trip was absolutely an unforgettable experience. I can honestly say that I will be telling EVERYONE in my family, at school, and at dance that this opportunity was one-of-a-kind. Performing in the Magic Kingdom Parade was exhilarating. Walking towards the castle with a huge crowd watching me truly made me feel like a princess. With tears streaming down my face as I thought to myself how incredibly blessed I was to be in that exact place at that exact moment. I am truly appreciative for everything this program has provided. The tour was an extremely gratifying way to end my senior year on poms Thank you so much for a wonderful 4 years. I hope I can continue to be a part of Badgerette. You’re 40 and fabulous! Yay Disney!~ Emily Davidson For three years now I have been blessed to experience the “pom life” with Badgerette, and being presented with an opportunity like Disney made all those years worth while. Working with Badgerette is incredible in and of itself and being apart of the All-Star Talent Tour is beyond words. The moment my stiff keds hit the concrete pavement of Epcot, I had the most exhilarating feeling ran through my body. Sharing the same incredible amount of passion and motive with over 200 girls is something not many teenage girls can find. Everyone’s energy during the full tour numbers is what gave me the chills. The audience, the Badgies, all of the parents cheering…that’s what reinforces the overall goals of Badgerette and that’s what drives me to keep persuing the I love most of all, POMS! I am in awe of what the Badgerette Staff does to keep young teens, like me, educated and enthusiastic about the positive activities high school has to offer. This is truly a spectacular program and I want to be a part of it for many years to come. Disney has been amazing and unforgettable. Thank you so much! ~ Maddie Myers. I never thought in a million years I would be dancing my heart out in Disney World. As I was performing it wasn’t about how high my kicks went, it was about all the girls around me- all there to show off their talent for dance. I love Badgerette!~Melissa Engelking I always thought camp and Midwest were going to be the best experiences of my life, but I was wrong. Being around 214 girls who have the same love as me was the greatest part of all. Being in performances with these girls and to be in the disney parade with everyone was such an honor. I will never forget looking at all those girls during the parade with huge sweat stains and the brightest smiles:D This year, poms has been a huge part of my life and going on this trip has given me so many wonderful ideas on how to make my team better. I mainly get my inspiration from all the badgies because they're perfect and AMAZING at poms! However, I have a new inspiration..I cant even think of how many countless hours you spent arranging all of the wonderful events that took place during the tour and I would just like to thank you and the staff for all of your hard work:) I would also like to say the dance class on Saturday morning was a really great experience because it is something I will probably never get to experience again and it was such a different style to be learning! The amount of freedom we had to bond with our roommates and the All * Team was amazing and so much fun. Its like camp...but 20,000 times better (and I dont know if thats possible) I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet Melissa and Joanna and reconnect with my old friend from my dance studio, Zoe! You brought us together again and made me reach out to new people I would have never met before! FRANKLIN HS: Classy is the only way I can describe Badgerette, the girls, and the entire tour. It has taken this tour for me to realize my pom days are soon coming to an end. I am so grateful for the experiences Badgerette has given me, and hold the entire business, and all that it stand for, very close to my heart. Thank you! This was GREAT!~Anna Mauer First off, I would like to say thank you for the seven years I’ve shared with all of you. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to you. These experiences we’ve had will hold a special place in my heart forever. The 2011 tour was by far my favorite pom function of the year. Thank so much for everything, and I love you all!~ Kayla Hendry I would like to thank Badgerette for giving me the opportunity to not only excel at dance, but for showing me that you can make best friends by sharing a common hobby. Without Badgerette I wouldn’t be as close with my team~ Megan Mallack My favorite part of the tour was that we all truly wanted to strut our stuff and show our hard work as one giant team. The routines brought the magic. Thank you Badgerette for teaching me that there’s more to life than just being a typical teenager and that we are all capable of tackling and succeeding in whatever we want.~Allie Bakovic Badgerette has given me many opportunities to bond with my team. This has been the best experience for getting to know each other as well as all the girls on the tour.~Megan Smith Although poms may be a lot of work, it always brings out a beautiful end result. I wouldn’t trade a second of my time here for the world. There is no way to thank Badgerette for everything they have done for us girls. ~Allison Garcia You know that you truly love something when it makes you so emotional and grateful. This experience gave me so many opportunities that have not only bonded me with the girls both on my team and all the others, but also broadened my potential as a dancer. One big thanks to Badgerette!~Sydney Kirkegaard. The whole Badgerette experience to me is an amazing opportunity to all pom girls. I love this program to death and everything it has taught me in both dance and everyday life skills. This tour, being my first, was mind blowing. OAK CREEK HS: It was such a great experience spending time with 200 girls who are all as crazy as I am. I loved feeling the support as ONE whole team together. Without Badgerette I would not have gained the friendships and memories as I have now.~Kendra This weekend was filled with great moments. When I look back on my life I know that this trip will be at the top of the list of my most treasured and memorable experiences. I can not thank you enough for helping me grow as a person over the years,~Kim This experience was amazing! I’m so glad that I got to be part of this! Thank you so much for this opportunity! I got so much closer with my squad!~Amy K This weekend has been the best, thank you so much for all the work you put into planning this and making it happen. I have learned many things that you can’t learn by sitting in a classroom. I will always remember this tour!~ Kaley I have been coming to Badgerette since 5th grade and I cant believe its my senior year. I have created so many wonderful poms memories that I will cherish forever! Thank you for giving me and all the other girls the experience of a lifetime. ~Steph One day when I have a family of my own, my children will grow up hearing the crazy and wild experiences of their mothers’ high school pom experience, just as I did. My experience here, and the love given to me by not only the girls and the Badgerettes, is more than I could ask for. I could not have asked for a better way to tie my senior year to a close. ESPRIT SENIORS: My favorite part was performing in the parade and seeing everyone cheering for us.~Dani S My favorite memory was connecting and dancing with all of the teams in the parade and at the Groove~Sarah M. The best part of the trip was walking in the parade towards Cinderella’s castle. The feeling was amazing and like nothing I’ve ever experienced..~Hailey L My favorite part was at the parade. I had so much fun listening as our girls exchanged the current high school lingo with the Pinckney girls. Since I was in sixth grade, my team had dreamed of one day dancing together in Disney. To be able to see those little kid dreams be made into a reality took my breath away each and every time we performed. I feel so blessed to be able to dance with a team that I love so much in the most magical place on earth! (: Not only that, but dancing with 215 other girls who all have hearts that are in the same exact place is so inspiring. Everytime I think about dancing through the parade, I get chills. Also, seeing all the teams perform what they do best at the Hollywood Studios was such a cool experience! PINCKNEY: As performers on this tour, we had amazing time. We can honestly say this was one of the most memorable things we’ve ever experienced. This was our first year coming to FL and we look forward to working hard and hopefully earning an invitation for next year’s trip. Nothing can amount to the feeling you get to make so many people happy. Dear Anne & Staff- I can't even begin to thank you all for many wonderful years. I was a little overwhelmed with excitement and sadness on this years Disney trip. The pride I felt being a mom of one of the 220 girls coming down the parade route representing Badgerette was amazing. I spoke to several spectators waiting for the parade to begin trying to explain what we were at Disney to see and what a great organization we are apart of. If you can believe it Kathy Mauer and myself had several people convinced their little girls should pom and dance starting at a young age. The Epcot and Hollywood Studio experience was better than I remember from my previous trip the way each group was showcased was beautiful and to see that many girls performing together really took my breath away. Anne you out did yourself with this trip, I don't know how you will top it. One more thing I would like to mention about my personal experience, I have seen so many parents faces over the years but never really spoke to them other than saying hi until this trip it was really fun meeting so many dedicated and great parents. Hello to all of the Badgerettes, I just wanted to send you an email thanking all of you for such a wonderful time this past weekend in Florida. My daughter, Danielle, is with the Oak Creek HS squad and this was her first time and mine with all of you. It was great!!! Being a parent and watching the girls perform at Epcot, in the Disney Parade and then at Hollywood Studios is something I had always hoped I would see. Boy, was it awesome!! I cried when I saw the girls, especially Danielle walking towards the castle in the parade. She loved the dance party on Friday and the classes they did on Saturday morning and now wants to get a summer job at Disney dancing. Thank you for such a magical, unforgettable, weekend! I really cannot thank you all enough for all the planning you put in so that dancers like me can have the opportunity of a lifetime. Every little detail was absoultely perfect; from the awesome hip hop class with Casper, to the rehearsals, to, of course, the performances. Since I was in sixth grade, my team had dreamed of one day dancing together in Disney. To be able to see those little kid dreams be made into a reality took my breath away each and every time we performed. I feel so blessed to be able to dance with a team that I love so much in the most magical place on earth! (: Not only that, but dancing with 215 other girls who all have hearts that are in the same exact place is so inspiring. Everytime I think about dancing through the parade, I get chills. Also, seeing all the teams perform what they do best at the Hollywood Studios was such a cool experience! I felt the need to write you today and to express how wonderful it was to read the letter on your website from the Performing Arts Manager at Disney Hollywood Studios and how proud you and your staff should feel. Becca lives in Florida now and made arrangements to go see the girls perform in the parade and at the Hollywood Studios performance and said that it was amazing! As someone who was a part of that tour once herself,she said that she cried. And I cried seeing all of the pictures from Donna and OC. The memories are so wonderful, then and now. Anne, I just wanted to reiterate what I said to you down at Disney about the tour. My daughter is Elizabeth Stief from Brookfield Central. As I said then, this experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity and you and your staff deserve an "All Star" compliment for the entire experience. Everything about the trip was handled so professionally and organized beyond compare. The time and effort you and your staff put into this event was evident in all the smiles and energy the girls showed throughout the shows and events that you had planned. I cannot tell you how "happy" and excited Elizabeth was about this experience. She told me that it was the best experience ever and she did not want it to end. I personally want to thank you and your staff for making her dreams come true, to be able to march down Main Street at Magic Kingdom and perform at Epcot and Hollywood Studios is something that many can really only dream of. It was truly a moving experience for me as well. It brought tears to my eyes to see my daughter perform at Disney. She was once a sweet little girl watching from the sidelines many years ago and now she can say that she actually was a part of the experience at Disney. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! It's taken me a little bit longer than usual to figure out how to say thank you for such a wonderful experience that we all just had on the Disney Tour. Here is what I came up with … THANK YOU!! Thank you for all of your hard work; thank you for your continued dedication to our teams and programs and for providing us with such wonderful events and venues to perform in; thank you and Mareta for taking me under your wing in 1991 and teaching me how to always strive to be the best coach that I can possibly be; thank you and Betsy Carr for having a powerful and life-changing impact on my daughter in 1992 which she still carries with her today; thank you for instilling the kids on our squads with positive messages that they, too, will carry with them forever; thank you for helping me conquer my fear of high and tight places by putting me on the top of the risers for the photo shoot at Epcot; thank you for placing Vinette and Kristin nearby so that I could hold onto them for dear life during said photo shoot; thank you for always being interested in me and my squads and making us feel so valued and special; and, finally, thank you for providing so many kids with so many wonderful memories that they, too, will definitely share with their kids and grandkids in years to come.
